The Central Oregon Trail Alliance (COTA) is a non profit volunteer organization that works in conjunction with the USFS, BLM and other land managers to build and maintain trails in Central Oregon. COTA is an IMBA affiliated club, interested in creating, enhancing and preserving trail opportunities for mountain bikers.

    Are the trails in Bend super dusty/dry yet? I was thinking of driving from Portland to do some cross country riding this weekend, but I'll skip it if conditions are like a dust bowl. How are conditions?

    Compared to Portland, yeah, it's dry. Most of the trails are in great shape with some dry and dusty areas on the lower sections. A lot of the high elevation trails are still snowbound. It is going to be smokin hot this weekend, fill your Camelback!
