Got a Bobcat Mini Skid Steer
COTA is currently seeking the following donations of time/materials:
This fall season starting around mid-Sept till the snow flies, COTA will be renting mechanized equipment to help us build and maintain trails throughout Central Oregon. If you own any of the following equipment or know someone who does, we would love to receive donation of machine time. Any discount over local rental rates would be much appreciate and help stretch our membership dollars. You’re welcome to help us run it if you got the time as well as the machine, but we’ll take whatever we can get.
Commercial grade roto-tiller. We’ll be using one of these to help install new trail in sandy soils in parts of the Wanoga Network and the Peterson Ridge expansion in Sisters.. Four years ago we used one to build the three trails that leave Phil’s trailhead. It worked great and we’d like to do it again.
Walk-behind mini-loader such as a Bobcat MT52 or equivalent (Dingo, etc). We used these in the past to add build new trail and to add drainage or features to existing trails. This fall we’ll be focusing on expanding Wanoga Network and Peterson Ridge, repairing The Lair, The Slalom Play Loop, COD and others.
COTA has cash available for rental or the ability to provide a tax write off as we are a 503c non-profit. A tax write-off for idle equipment…cool.

This sure would be a good time for someone to step up if they got a machine we can use for the next couple weeks.
