  1. Wanoga loop ride

Rode the South side of the Wanoga loop yesterday, 11/15 (sorry i missed the work party) out and back. The trickiest route-finding was early on where the trail follows the 700 road (see map) with the loggin' on your left...but it's easy enough to regain the trail higher up the road. After that, it's straightforward all the way up (and I mean ALL THE WAY UP) to just NE of KIWA BUTTE. You really have to look for the singletrack going right (no flags) so DON'T DESCEND here! THe trail goes straight up through this section. Just a few snowpatches, then when you drop down, on the NW aspect, nothing but snow, already, rideable though. Easy to miss the singletrack shooting off right...if you hit the 300 road, you went past it. Probably the BEST section of all, worth the work getting there, is just after the singletrack crosses 300 road and traverses before dropping down to wanoga.
No GPS required, just adjust your speed and keep the eyes wide open...and have fun! Say hi to the elk.

Congrats on finding the whole loop. On Saturday I added more pink ribbon to the route to assist. Glad you enjoyed it. Still tons of work to do obviously, but stoked on what we've accomplished in one year.
