COTA is hosting a membership drive through the entire month of April! Our goal is to gain 600 new members for the 600 miles of trails we maintain. Our local trails are the lifeblood of Central Oregon, offering us joy, freedom, and a sense of community. With over 600 miles of single track in our backyard, maintaining these trails requires collective effort. Thankfully COTA has been building and maintaining these trails for over 30 years so you can get out there and ride your bike! Did you know that 57% of our annual funding comes from our members? Without your support, our work wouldn't be possible.
Who are COTA members?Mountain bikers and other trail users, locals and visitors alike, who enjoy the trails "free" of charge! However, these “free” trails are built and maintained by COTA. It costs up to $5k to maintain a mile of trail, and up to $70k to build 1 mile of new trail. Funding our $750,000 annual budget is completely supported through trail lovers like you!
