Redmond Chapter
Mission:
The Redmond Chapter of COTA is dedicated to the preservation, stewardship and development of human powered trails in Central Oregon, and enhancing community through the development of volunteer based trail work and bicycle advocacy. We work in cooperation with local land managers and property owners to protect and maintain recreation opportunities throughout the region. This includes trails around Grey Butte and Smith Rock State Park, Cline Buttes, Maston and The Radlands.
Goals:
Current projects include completion and maintenance of new trails at the Radlands and adoption and maintenance of trails within the Crooked River National Grasslands. We are also in the final phases of planning for new trails on Cline Buttes.
Meetings:
Chapter meetings are generally held the second Wednesday of every month, from 6:00 – 7:00pm, at Trinity Bikes, 1730 SW Parkway Drive, Redmond.
Work Events: The work event schedule will be posted on the COTA Calendar. Sign up on COTA's Meetup page to get email notifications of trail work events, movie nights & more here.
We will carpool to the work site.
COTA will provide food and refreshments after the event.
Please bring a hydration pack with water and a snack.
Be sure to bring appropriate clothing layers to accommodate whatever the weather may be.

- Sturdy shoes or boots
- Gloves
- Eye protection with clear or light colored lens
- Long pants
- For anyone 14 years of age or younger, we require one parent, guardian, or responsible adult for supervision of every four kids attending any COTA trail work events.
- All minors under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian available to sign our waiver.
